  • Angela Montondo, M.A., LPC, NCC ,CCTP (Wait List Only)
    Clinical Director and Therapist

Hello and welcome! My name is Angela Montondo. I am the CEO/Owner and Clinical Director here at Still Waters.  I am Board Certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Psychology and Crisis Intervention from Liberty University. I also hold a Master of Arts degree (M.A.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

My areas of practice include Bi-Polar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, sexual assault, domestic violence, and grief. I also offer Christian counseling services for clients who wish to approach healing from a Biblical (and spiritual) model.  As a former nurse, I believe in a holistic model of health of health and healing (body, mind, spirit).

I'm the daughter of a Vietnam veteran and the wife of a twenty-two-year Army veteran and law enforcement officer. I served in the Army as a combat medic (91B) before becoming a nurse. That experience makes me passionate about delivering clinically excellent care for veterans, first responders, and their families.

God has called me to walk beside you as we take this journey to becoming a better, healthier version of you as possible. My theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I firmly believed God wants every part of us to be whole. 3 John 2 declares, 'Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospereth.' Our soul is our mind, our will, our emotion, and our intellect. My goal is to provide you with a non-judgmental environment, affirmation, and support as we unlock the doors to you reaching your full potential. I am currently accepting new clients.
